Vanke Qibao Sports Area

Vanke Mall Sport Zone is an entertainment-led project located at the top of Vanke Mall shopping centre in the Qibao district of Shanghai, China.
The 5,000m² Sport Zone includes a NBA basketball halfcourt and a suspended roller skating track and a ‘9A’ Climbing Wall, around which are major sports brand tenants such as Nike and Adidas as well as healthy F&B offers. Other tenants include physical gym, a bowling alley, and other sports equipment tenants.Vanke, our client, was particularly keen to promote an active, fun, and healthy lifestyle to its customers and as a result we were asked to design this entertainment and sports themed experience in the new Vanke Mall.
The sports retail and experience tenants in this exciting space make this sports zone a one-stop sports and the entertainment-driven destination.We also helped Vanke to remodel the centre’s main entrance and principal mall for a better commercial experience and to accommodate the inclusion of the 2,000 sqm Apple Store.
