Ningbo Three Rivers And Six Coasts Sanjiangkou Park

As the headstream of the Maritime Silk Road and one of the worldwide cultural heritages, Ningbo Sanjiangkou is the most representative urban core waterfront space in this city and also an important part of the urban core landscape system of Ningbo.Before the landscape renovation, the space of Sanjiangkou riverside is discontinuous, without vigour and attraction, since there is a lack of sufficient excavation and display of historical relics and cultural resources in the park. To make a change, the design firstly excavates the historical resources to creative three riverside districts with different themes. At the same time, the central ring road is used to connect the three sides, so as to stimulate the new vitality of the area. Lastly, by opening the viewing area of the riverside, the landmark of the city with the integration of culture and commerce will be created.
