YINSHAN, WUXI, JIANGSU (DEMONSTRATION AREA)

The Wuxi Century Jinyuan Project is located in Wuxi, in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta plain, with the Grand Canal running through it. Jichang Garden is situated within, hidden on the east side of the western suburbs at the foot of Huidong Mountain. To pay tribute to Jichang Garden, the project uses mountains, water, architecture, and plants as its foundation, complemented by the spatial techniques and perceptual layers of ‘height,’ ‘depth,’ and ‘distance,’ interpreting modern Eastern expression under global trends. What meets the eye conveys a sense of vastness and expansiveness, towering height, and tranquil depth, creating a poetic Eastern garden where mountains are concealed and water is revealed.
