WONDER TREE: A MASSIVE STEAMPUNK MAGICAL FOREST INSTALLATION IN A COMMERCIAL ATRIUM

In the commercial atrium of THE RING · GARDEN CITY in Chongqing Central Park, XISUI Design has created a massive 20-meter-high “Wonder Tree” that spans four floors. This installation merges steampunk aesthetics with a thriving botanical landscape, forming a symbiotic scene where people can weave through and immerse themselves. Drawing inspiration from the spiritual origin of the steampunk era—the optimism about technological progress and future living after the First Industrial Revolution—the design does not depict the ruins of war, but rather pays tribute to that historical phase of productivity leaps and ideal flourishing.
