HEFEI MOTAN TOURIST RESORT — SOUTH FORT GATE VISITOR CENTER, BIRDIE CAMP & LANDSCAPE BRIDGE PROJECT
The project is situated in Motan, Hefei. It deeply integrates the site’s inherent cultural context with modern creativity to develop three core landmark attractions.
Taking the “Labyrinth Town Strategy” as its design concept, Nanbaomen Visitor Center reconstructs the entrance narrative. Blending the local weir-fort culture with contemporary craftsmanship, it balances distinctive visual identity and practical functionality.
Framed around the storyline of “Birds Returning to Their Nests”, the Cute Bird Camp adopts membrane structures to create an all-age bird-themed camping zone, harmonizing rustic wilderness charm with premium amenities.
Centered on bionic and geometric aesthetics, the four landscape bridges draw inspiration from nature, evolving into scenic landmarks for both viewing and interactive experience.
Upholding the integrated core of “functionality, aesthetics and operation”, the project sets an innovative benchmark for cultural tourism development under rural revitalization.
