Nanjing Jiangning Jinmao Mansion: A Practice of Dwelling in “Flowing Modern Landscapes” The design seeks to address a core question: In the contemporary metropolis, how can we reconstruct a paradigm of living that embodies both Eastern spirit and modern sensibility within a site where “mountains have their source, and waters converge to form momentum”? In response, we propose the core concept of “Flowing Modern Landscapes,” pursuing the essence of dwelling that is “born of nature, returning to artistic conception.” This is not merely the creation of space, but the cultivation of a living realm that can be wandered, inhabited, and experienced—allowing the spirit of mountains and waters to flow through every dimension of life.
