KING SALMAN PARK

King Salman Park (KSP) is located in central Riyadh on a former airport site. Once completed, it will be the world’s largest urban park, covering a total of 16.6 km². More than a park, it is a self-sustaining ecosystem that combines both cultural and natural value. The project is a major urban transformation, led by Gerber Architekten in interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering consultants Buro Happold and Setec. Beyond the master plan, Gerber Architekten’s scope includes the ecological landscape system, the Wadi area, a series of public pavilions, and the Museum of the Earth.
