Xi’an DT51, formerly the 14th National Games Competition Operations and Press & Media Command Center, has been renovated into Xi’an first multi-functional complex centered on indoor ice and snow facilities. Operated by Beijing Hualian Group, it is China’s second DT51 community-focused premium fashion department store and the first outside Beijing, spanning 73,000 sqm.Under the concept of “Scenario Evolution”, J&A Design built a multi-million-yuan “Milky Way” Art Atrium featuring interactive light and shadow resembling star trails. With three atriums and two sunken plazas, the main atrium includes a kinetic art installation, a performance-ready ice rink, and a double-height art space, enhancing spatial quality and artistic atmosphere.
