SHENYANG CTG VANKE CITY TOWN CENTER LANDSCAPE RENOVATION PHASE I
This project transforms a disused sales gallery into an 8,000㎡ community public space. Adopting a “simplification” strategy, it removes redundant structures and introduces low-cost, highly identifiable landscape features: a colourful dry fountain plaza and a pointillist-style mosaic bench. Five traditional Northeast Chinese paper-cutting motifs, generated with AI, are translated into public art installations. Responding to the cold climate, the design creates a “thermal anchor” for daily social interaction, shifting the site from a transient “show stage” into a vibrant “public living room” for the neighbourhood.
