The cinema area of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum includes a giant screen cinema, a dome cinema, and related public spaces. The waiting area serves as a public living room for the entire cinema. GRG material creates a white curtain wall, with simple white light strips outlining a unified white space, forming a futuristic immersive atmosphere together with the black mirrored walls. The giant screen cinema is entirely covered with contrasting dark gray sound-absorbing material, and the walls are equipped with beam lights that create an interactive viewing experience tailored to the film’s theme. The giant screen in the dome cinema is the absolute centerpiece of the space. The dazzling, vibrant gradient red seats provide an emotional warm-up for the audience before the screen lights up.
