WUXI APPTEC WUHAN SITE

The WuXi AppTec Wuhan Site, located in Optics Valley Bio City in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, is a biopharmaceutical R&D service campus integrating laboratories, administrative offices, and supporting amenities. Departing from the conventional linear industrial layout, the project adopts a campus-based cluster strategy that combines concentrated planning with dispersed building groups to create an efficient research environment. The headquarters building establishes a strong visual focus for the campus, while an internal atrium and elevated terraces introduce daylight and landscape into the workplace. Laboratory buildings are arranged in L-shaped clusters to enclose shared green spaces. Elevated bridges and platforms organize a multi-level network of public areas, creating opportunities for interaction and pause within the high-efficiency environment of scientific research.
