Located in the core of Hongkou District, Shanghai, the project sits within the vibrant heart of a modern metropolis.We choose to coexist with nature — to re-establish a connection with the natural world within the urban grid.Through undulating landforms and meandering, tranquil streams, we seek to weave nature back into the fabric of the city.Rather than a simple imitation of wilderness, the project constructs a deeper narrative, using topography, vegetation, water and pathways as its fundamental design language.Within this “urban forest”, a minimalist and contemplative living environment emerges — restrained in form, yet rich in inner vitality.
