SINOPEC HUANGNIBANG GAS STATION RENOVATION PROJECT

Located on Huanghong Road , Yu bei District, Chongqing, this project transforms a conventional urban gas station into a multi – functional community service hub. The design concept ‘From NIMBY to Neighborhood’ redefines the station’s role by integrating fuel service s, a community canteen, a parcel delivery, a pocket park, and community reading space. Through functional layering, ecological landscaping, and sponge – city strategies, the project softens the negative impression of detached municipal service facilities. and creates a vibrant, walkable urban node that serves the surrounding high – density residential community.
