REN JOY (SALES CENTER)

With “benevolence” as its spiritual core, this project embraces the philosophy of “seclusion in the tropics, serenity meeting the sea,” aiming to create a spiritual sanctuary for urban recluses. The design is deeply rooted in Sanya’s unique geographical context of the “Edge of the Sky and Sea” and the cultural heritage of the Li people, establishing a comprehensive, site-specific narrative. Through four key strategies—spatial sequence, layered light, boundless permeability, and local storytelling—it shapes a fluid spatial experience imbued with ritual and discovery. The design intentionally blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior, allowing sea breezes, light, and landscape to permeate freely, ultimately achieving a poetic realm where people, space, and nature exist in harmonious unity.
