POLY SUNNY AND WARM OF CHAOYANG(DEMONSTRATION AREA)

Located in the heart of Nanchang, this project serves as a “Cultural Manual” translating the city’s heritage into modern architecture. The design draws inspiration from the “Tengwang Pavilion”, incorporating the elegance of its “colonnades and flying eaves”into a contemporary facade. By applying the “void and solid” logic of traditional paper-cutting, the project recreates the city flower, ”Daphne odora“, and “classical pavilion patterns”through intricate light and shadow on hyperbolic columns. Enhanced by Guixi Copper Engraving and “Eight Bespoke Techniques,” the development bridges the gap between ancient craftsmanship and modern luxury. It is a cultural landmark designed for the contemporary intellectual, offering a sophisticated sanctuary that resonates with Nanchang’s romantic and historical soul.
