Gartner’s Beijing office turns a reduced footprint into an opportunity to create a more efficient, healthy and culturally grounded workplace. The design reorganises focused work, collaboration, client engagement, café areas, outdoor terrace and global communication settings into a clear and cohesive spatial experience. Aligned with Gartner’s global standards, the workplace introduces a contemporary interpretation of Beijing’s cultural context through materiality, spatial forms, tonal palettes, curated artwork and environmental graphics. Integrated strategies, including smart lighting, real-time air quality monitoring, acoustic planning, low-emission materials, reused furniture and ergonomic work settings, support daily comfort and long-term performance. Achieving WELL Gold and RESET Air certifications, the project demonstrates how workplace design can bring together efficiency, wellbeing, local identity and sustainable operational value.
