SICHUAN CULTURAL ART CENTER

Located on the cultural axis of Tianfu New Area in Chengdu, the Sichuan Centre for Culture and Art covers approximately 110,000 sqm. The complex consists of three elliptical volumes connected by a spiral spine, bringing together theatres, a concert hall, exhibition spaces, public areas and creative institutions. Inspired by Chengdu’s ancient sun symbol and the image of a rising spiral of light, the project is conceived as an open cultural organism. Through clear geometry, fluid circulation and a layered envelope, it creates a civic space where art, public life and the city meet.
