LI SHUI HOMESTAY
This case is designed with the core philosophy of “temporal and spatial integration”, creating a dialogue between the texture of historical buildings and the needs of modern life, and creating a poetic dwelling that carries cultural memory and activates spatial vitality. The design strictly follows the spatial concept of the traditional quadrangle courtyard with “four waters returning to the hall”, retaining architectural genes such as the raised beam wooden frame, blue brick horsehead wall, and patterned brick carvings. The main hall retains the “Mingtang” layout, and the customized rammed earth wall texture is derived from local yellow clay sampling analysis. The second floor is equipped with a corridor connecting the multifunctional area and the guest room area, bringing people closer to nature and showcasing the orderly spatial changes of opening and closing, diluting the boundaries between the interior and exterior of the building.
