SHANGHAI HONGKOU GATHER SPACE

Shanghai Hongkou Gather Space aims to improve the quality of life for child-bearing families, and dynamic youth of the regional communities and the metropolis through spatial renovation and thematic program implantation to meet their changing needs in demand driven by social changes to help Shanghai build a child-friendly city. The project has upgraded the space from a three-dimensional perspective. By adding a declarative entrance glass box, a characteristic waterfall on the third floor, an ecological landscape promenade, an overhanging dining glass box and a children’s play garden on the roof, it creates a rich space experience for commercial activities and residents’ leisure. It enhances its spatial value, enhances its interaction and visibility with the city, and contributes to the vitality of the regional community.
