WU HAN WANG HU (DEMONSTRATION AREA)

The project is located in the central area of the Shahu plot in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, adjacent to the Shahu Park in the west, and has the first-line Sand Lake landscape resources. The project adopts the concept of “the sky is round and the place is round” to construct the spatial philosophy, and the upper terrace and sunken courtyard interpret the coexistence of virtual and real. The neat functional partition reflects the sense of order of the “place”, and the meandering visiting line interprets the inclusiveness of the “round sky”. Light and shadow dance between the geometric transformation of the square and the circle, the material is balanced in the contrast between rigidity and softness, and finally in the rhythm of the space where the square and the circle are mutually beneficial, the artistic conception from the material residence to the spiritual home is sublimated.
