HSINCHU BIOTECHNOLOGY RESEARCH AND INCUBATION CENTER PHASE III

The Biotech Research & Incubation Center Phase III, located in the Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park, is envisioned as a “Bio-core”—a life incubator that integrates seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The design responds thoughtfully to environmental conditions such as wind, sunlight, and thermal flow, using parametric modeling to shape a dynamic façade that echoes the gentle motion of wind-blown fields and emerging plant life. With its interplay of aluminum panels and glass, the building captures natural light to convey a sense of vitality and growth. Spanning 11 stories and nearly 66,000 square meters, the center serves as a hub for biotech research and industrial production. Emphasizing shared space and interdisciplinary collaboration, the project sets a new benchmark for biotech facilities by blending sustainability, advanced technology, and thoughtful, human-centered design.
