JINYI PARK – RENOVATION AND RENEWAL OF TIANJIN FIRST MACHINE TOOL FACTORY

The renovation of Jinyi · PARK, which combines “old factory buildings and parks,” is a comprehensive urban renewal project. The design theme by L&A GROUP is “Industrial Heritage · Natural Art,” utilizing a spatial structure of “one hall, three parks, eight courtyards, and four gardens” to connect the entire area. This aims to create a city destination that is “youth-friendly, child-friendly, all-age friendly, and pet-friendly,” providing a relaxed atmosphere. The design team relies on the solid industrial foundation of the old machinery, focusing on the deep integration of culture, tourism, and commerce. By restoring and renovating the old factory buildings, the project aims to precisely address the consumption needs of young people, attracting visitors of all ages and helping Tianjin establish a new cultural landmark.
