XI’AN CCBD

The lighting design of Xi’an CCBD takes “culture as soul, technology as medium” to set a new benchmark for commercial complex illumination. The core installation, “Tree of Life,” draws inspiration from ancient ginkgo trees and integrates DMX512 control with 29 hidden projectors to achieve dynamic, leaf-level lighting. Custom solutions for irregular skylights—using adjustable-angle fixtures and diffuse reflection—solve large-span lighting challenges. Landscape lighting features GOBO technology to create natural shadow effects, while multifunctional poles integrate illumination and smart systems. With high-efficiency LEDs and modular construction, the project exemplifies how light can tell the story of a city in innovative ways.
