CLASSY MANSION
The project design is rooted in the study of Eastern culture, distilling eight core design elements:
1.Minimalism and absence of ornamentation
2.A sense of retreat and leisure
3.Layering, construction, stacking, and negative space
4.Natural materials
5.Grand scale
6.Soft, low-saturation color palettes
7.Intimacy and envelopment
8.Fluidity and openness
In exploring design inspiration and shaping the concept, the intricate structure of the purlins from the classic architecture of Beijing’s Forbidden City was drawn upon, along with the profound tranquility embodied in the still waters of Jinan’s Daming Lake. These influences are reinterpreted through a modern design language. Through the fusion and reinvention of these elements, the project articulates a contemporary sense of luxury and artistic allure that resonates with contemporary sensibilities.
