When talking about Hangzhou, It is inevitable to mention the Song Dynasty, the beauty of Hangzhou is the temperament of the Song Dynasty. Mr. Chen Yinke said, “The culture of the Chinese nation has gone through thousands of years and has made the greatest achievements in Song dynasties.” The project is located at the north side of Shangtang River, a canal tributary of Hangzhou, as the former capital of the Southern Song Dynasty. Relying on the landscape of hills in the east, the project aims at becoming the first Song-style residential cluster with Chinese traditional gardens in China, and tries to explore the possibility of the revival of oriental classical culture from the perspective of the contemporary and sustainable development of traditional architecture.
