WATERFRONT CITY
Design returns to the essential relationship between landscape and humans, that is, establishing the relationship between humans and nature on different scales of land. The planning and design follows the principles of “translating into local language, low-key luxury, and harmonious coexistence”, taking into account the unique characteristics of the French plot of “facing water and shining on people”, forming its unique planning context. The design aims to incorporate natural poetry into pure modernism, and the minimalist architectural appearance combines the geometric concepts of two circles. With its transparent and lightweight architectural characteristics, it creates a highly iconic and rhythmic architectural silhouette. The three-dimensional luminescent diamond shaped perforated aluminum plate refracts the city’s lights, like a full moon leaping over the sea.
