CHINA YELLOW SEA WETLANDS MUSEUM

In a typological sense, the space of transportation architecture and exhibition building has natural commonality. The tall waiting room and platform space of the railway station are suitable for transformation into exhibition space. After the habitat of migratory birds in the Yellow (Bohai) Sea was officially inscribed on the World Heritage List, Yancheng urgently needed a window to showcase its wetland culture. The railway station is adjacent to the newly built Wetland Park, which has been transformed into a wetland museum and has become a new landmark for displaying Yancheng’s wetland culture.
