SHENZHEN HUALANG SCHOOL

The kaisa hualang school was built on a typical multi span and deep general industrial plant. The building structure is stable, but the ventilation and lighting are poor. Our design strategy is to bring sunlight and air back into the building through certain demolition and renovation, create a light corridor + two light halls, and form two loops by expanding the corridor into a “learning street”, connecting these bright public elements in series, Break the monotonous function arrangement of the traditional school, make the school full of public space that can promote students’ communication, attract students out of the classroom, welcome science and technology enterprises into the campus, and form an all-weather, all time, ubiquitous three-dimensional campus.
