The “Fengqing Yayuan” relocation house project is located in the east of Chengqiao Town, Chongming District, Shanghai. The project is divided into eastern and western plots. Considering that the community center can serve two plots in a balanced way, it should be set between the two plots. Combined with the design of the public access, the overall layout of the building is “U”-shaped. The community square is formed along the municipal road on the west side of the community center. The public access passes through the first floor of the building and leads to the square, ensuring access and meeting the demands of residents for public leisure space.
