MEI LI ZHOU CHURCH

Mei Li Zhou Church is located in the wooded Liangzhu Cultural Village in Hangzhou, on the hills of a low-density, slow-paced and secluded town. In addition to serving as a religious facility, the church also provides a place for nearby villagers to gather and communicate. The lighting design project is a renovation for the tenth anniversary of the church. The lighting environment after the transformation expresses the light which corresponds to religious symbols, the light which integrates with nature, and the light which communicates with beliefs. The integration of lighting has vitalized the demand of religious activities, the gathering needs of the villagers and the needs of large-scale performance venues, bringing a brand-new experience to users.
