“The swallows that used to be in front of Duke Wang and Duke Xie’s house now fly into the homes of ordinary people.” In this project, we try to in-depth explore buddhist mood in traditional human settlement culture, and fully express the ancient literati’s spiritual pursuit of happy life. We strive to create a harmonious and broad settlement space, and design a variety of gray spaces in a limited volume, outlining hazy gray tones and clear ink painting scrolls with the effect of light and shadow. A number of themed courtyards formed by the architectural enclosures, with borrowed scenery, enframed scenery, opposite scenery, and all kinds of spaces permeate each other, showing the sense of hierarchy and richness of spatial dialogue, and setting off the residential atmosphere with strong landscape poetry.
