XXIV DOWNTOWN (EXHIBITION CENTER)

The permanent function of 24 City Sales Office is a kindergarten, which is located in the southwest corner of the base. Originating from the regional culture of Lanzhou, the design pays tribute to this great historical city by drawing on the national space language. The L-shaped buildings and verandas form a long rectangular courtyard and a shallow pool in the center, which are enclosed into a “water courtyard”, which is the landscape and visual center of the whole courtyard. Around the “water courtyard” are simple and abstract rectangular colonnades. Silver-white metal slanted pilaster, while paying tribute to tradition, also has a strong sense of modernity. The rippling colonnades, sparkling water surface, the virtual and real enclosed courtyard, as well as the exquisite buildings, constitute 24 City pre-sale space with order and beauty.
