GREENHOUSE IN BOTANIC GARDEN, NANTONG

The Greenhouse of Nantong botanic garden is located in the Langshan Scenic Area. The south side of the greenhouse is waterfront, which is the main entrance and main display area. This greenhouse building is mainly used for plant cultivation and for citizens to visit and learn. The interior is divided into five plant zones, namely tropical rain forest area, palm area, four seasons garden area, tropical fruit tree area and special plant area.
The fishing culture of Nantong has a long history. Through the modeling design of the portal frame system, the waterfront greenhouse forms a ‘space net’ between the curtain wall keel and the structural frame. All arcs follow the geometric principles and draw an elegant outline in the skyline.
