MANGOOHUB

Mangoohub is located on the West Bund in Shanghai’s Xuhui District, along the popular media port strip. Behind Mangoohub is Shanghai MANGO-XIANG Culture Investment Company, whose goal is to create an integrated entertainment mixed-use development that is smart, technologically advanced, and entertaining. It is also located near the Dream Center site which was planned as a F&B, retail, cultural and entertainment destination. It is based on establishing a balance between flexibility and an intelligent and consistent response and interpretation of a modern commercial building. In this case, we created a retail street with 2 levels on the south side which defines the retail atmosphere together with the south plot, and weaves in the ground level public space with a coherent texture and context. Additionally, 2 office buildings (60m & 100m) and a small media-use building were introduced into the project which creates a multi-experiential architectural cluster.
