NANSHA KINGBOARD PLAZA

The design reveals the `Gate of Maritime Silk Road’. The architecture is grandeur like an entrance gate at Jiaomen riverside, symbolising Nansha Free Trade Zone as a maritime gateway to the Belt and Road open to future opportunities and challenges. The design draws inspiration from the forceful character of the mountains in South Guangdong, with volumes stacked and rotated in sections, rendering an image of a classic ink painting scroll.
