Great Artist – Daydream
Literature is a light shining into the real world. I think of Walden, as well as Thoreau. Thoreau found his place in the sunset of Walden. As we were at the Erhai Lake, relying on the soul, exploring new ways of natural life. So it comes to “Daydream”, my realistic imagination of Thoreau’s Walden… Whether the installation, sculpture or space, daydreaming is full of light. In previous works, light has been playing the role of the auxiliary work. The creative materials in my hands can be oil paint, earth, stones or anything with a specific texture, but not light. But the tools created in “Daydream” are not brushes and knives, but light. In the creation of “Daydream”, we’ve got a kind of pleasure that seems to use the hallucinogen.
