Longfor Tianpu Demonstration Zone in Kunming

The project base is located in a mature area of Guandu District, Kunming, about 3 kilometers away from Kunming Station. The project is a reconstruction of an existing building, aiming at the geometric relationship of the fragmentation of the original building block, refining the design techniques, and integrating it into the design language of the building’s facade, landscape and interior. The project adopts different transformation strategies for the display surface where the subway crowds mainly come from and the display surface facing the front space. The face that faces the crowd should be clear. The original design consciously highlighted a corner, but did not break out of the body, so it was “exposed”. The side facing the front court should be a whole display side and a viewing side. The original corner makes the surface fragmented, so it must be “hidden”.
