Capitaland Nuohemule

Capitaland Nuohemule is located in Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia. The seven-storey shopping mall is adjacent to Nuohemule Station of Metro Line two. Forest theme interior design incorporates natural elements into the urban shopping space which astounds the entire city. The initial challenge was how to utilize the existing structure and fire protection system so that the rather oppressive experience induced by long and narrow atriums can be relieved and re-imagined. Many green garden platforms and staggered openings at horizontal levels are created, balance the high maintenance cost of vertical gardening. Ultimately, the method of design turns a dull and undeveloped space into a retail center that is full of energy, lively, and environmental friendly.
