When the office has slowly entered the era of mobility as expected 10 years ago, “router” seems to have become a reference to the new type of office facilities connecting people and resources.This project is ommissioned by TP-LINK, a fast growing Chinese manufacturer of computer networking products, TP-LINK East China Headquarter in Hangzhou, and it’s designed to foster collaboration.

The project is located in the high tech zone of Hangzhou Binjiang district. It’s surrounded by many renowned high-tech R&D parks, such as Intel, Huawei, and etc. It is important that the project has a high-tech appear to responding to its corporate neighbors. The main building frontage is facing west where the regional arterial road is located on the west side of the site. Such kind of site conditions define the building frontage facing west and the style of building with high-tech characteristic. The urban design guidelines allow certain design opportuniteis to focus on human scale place making.
