Chengdu 1979 Plant Boutique Hotel

Renovated from an old military factory, the hotel’s overall design is composed of peeling red brick walls and interspersed industrial elements. The designer uses a unique technique to merge and collide the old and new elements. The lobby bar retains the original factory architectural features, while specialty guest rooms and the scattered LOFT guest rooms are arranged by the river. The other guest room area is renovated from the former staff dormitory of the factory, and is newly presented in the form of LOFT style rooms and double bed rooms. Chess, board games and leisure spaces have been added to serve the young guests with unique experience needs. Various service spaces are connected in series with the swimming pool as the core, thus the whole project complements each other in function and space.
