Greenland Yuehu Academy is a modern demonstration of the traditional architectural style based on the full understanding of the traditional culture, instead of blindly following either the Chinese traditional style or modern trend. Solutions of modern architecture were adapted to the structure of Song Dynasty from Yuelu Academy. In this way, the Chinese architectural combined with western techniques is developed into a unique form. Meanwhile, the structure of the buildings, cultural elements and natural landscape are integrated into one. The whole pattern is designed by adopting the spatial plan of traditional academies of Song Dynasty and the central buildings display as the core to blend with the landscape of Yuehu.
