Ronshine Mansion

Though located in the core downtown area of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, the project has a peaceful and secluded Beishan Park on its southern flank. Only a few steps away from an idyllic scene, we spontaneously feel an urge to create a mansion community for “hidden magnates”, which features “shut doors, enclosed walls and hill-overlooking windows”. The cityscape is sequestered through an encircling overall layout while the view of mountains is brought to the eyes through intentional planning of line of sight. Compared with the local mansion property predominantly featuring stone and classical styles in the surrounding area, the project introduces the value concept of new mansion with the minimal modernist façade design techniques. Without the depleting stone materials, the project uses advanced environmental-friendly self-cleaning roll coated aluminum sheet materials to give a dominant façade style of pure white series.
