JW Marriott Hotel

This is a landscape design that transforms the external environment of the hotel due to brand upgrade. Although the original site is near the sea, the current spatial form does not form a connection with the seascape. In order to make people interact with the sea, it is designed to create a place that conforms to the natural elements of the seaside on the basis of analyzing wind and light environment of the seaside. In order to divert the sight to the sea, a mirrored waterscape is set between the site and the sea, and an artistic structure is created above the water surface. The design is derived from the shape of the sea breeze. The original static structure also has a dynamic feeling. Here, the abstract sea is transformed into a changing light, shadow, wind, shape.
