When the past glorious old industrial zone has transformed into current urban commercial-residential land, it’s a historical response to the emotional connection of clients, as well as the need of architectural context. As the saying of Anselm Kiefer’s goes, I am not nostalgic for the past, I just want to remember it.

• The dialogue between new and old

We specially designed a glass courtyard for the old architecture, the heavy arch contrasting the light steel glass starts the metaphorical dialogue between tradition and modernity. Some old style furnishings and decorations like machines, sculptures, woodblock prints, tiny TVs and wheels prompt the history evolution and inspiration of the base. People seem to walk into an old museum.

• A place full of sunlight and green

The huge and beautiful courtyard with a glass ceiling, the tall Osmanthus fragrans and the shadow of sunlight draw the elegant line of arch. Sunlight and green are becoming especially valuable in such a seriously polluted city Shenyang, this place brings guests back to nature.

The cafe and book bar inside the center bring people the flavor of humanism and taste of life where makes guests feel at home.
