Smart City Block—Hangmei International Smart Town Demo Area

“Shuyuan”, and “Old City” and “New City”, two demonstration areas, form the start zone. Shuyuan is a courtyard created through spatial arrangement of two buildings, with walls built inside to guide visitors to walk or make a stop between buildings, and it performs the park’s sales and exhibition functions. The “Old City” neighborhood comprises three office buildings, and an Art Center surrounded by them. The office buildings stand out due to their distinctive façade designs and materials. Their facades and materials are distinctive in that the former represents new-city architecture and the later makes the buildings full of ancient flavors, hence a sense of history. The Art Center is the core building of the complex. The 1^stfloor is designed most open to the street, and there is a circle plaza in the central, to be a big space node. The space scale of the street is an important element. People who come here walking or have a cup of coffee, can feel the comfortable.
