Taking the culture of the Peking University as the basis of the design, continuing the unique and elegant temperament within the palace, using the approach of the Chinese garden to deal with the various space, applying novel Chinese building elements, constructing the atmosphere which creates visual touches and strengthens the sense of belonging, developing a healthy and modern community with a strong sense of humanity and culture, are the purposes of the design.

The project adheres the concept of “culture design”, excavating the cultural connotation of Peking University and integrating it with the region and sense of humanity. Combining new Chinese elements and university culture to create the rich charm of the landscape, fulfills the aesthetic needs of modern people. By doing so, the culture of the University of Peking is perfectly exhibited and the user are impacted by the fusion of traditional culture and modern design.

Landscape design, people-oriented, fully considers local customs and needs. It combines with existing conditions to enrich the space and style. The design applies centralized and focused creation to balance costs and improve quality.

Details Including pavements, sculptures, walls, iron art, and the carrier in the form of sketch, embody the idea of extracting relevant cultural elements to fit the landscape. Our ideal is to integrate the landscape with culture and people and assist occupants to find the sense of identity and acknowledgment.
