A Decade’s Hall | CREDAWARD 10th Anniversary Message

Written in February,2024

For the past 10 years, its professional dedication has witnessed the success of the “CREDAWARD” for a decade! On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of this real estate design award, I sincerely hope that this event will continue to play an important role in promoting the development and progress of the real estate design industry.

I hope that in the next ten years, the real estate design award will continue to lead the industry trends, inspire more innovation and excellent design works, and create a better living environment for humanity. At the same time, I also wish all participating companies to achieve excellent results in the competition, contributing to the prosperity and development of the real estate design industry.

A Message for CREDAWARD

Written in 2017

I hope the CREDAWARD, with a high–level, fair and just belief, sticks to become the platform to promote the development of real estate design in China as well as for the real estate architects to communicate and predict the industry trends, quickly learn and understand the product levels of the local companies and the design capabilities of the design institutions. During my time as a jury of CREDAWARD, I am very proud of seeing the team of juries is growing, the level of participating companies is getting higher and higher, the magnitude of CREDAWARD is getting bigger and bigger in this industry, and its influence is getting expanded year by year.

Interpretation of "Good Design in Real Estate"

Written in 2018

“Advocating for green and healthy living, sharing the achievements of technological development,” guided by user demand, keeping pace with the times, and striving with craftsmanship to create green, healthy, and technological residences rich in modernity and experiential qualities for users. Real estate architects should embody a selfless approach, as meeting user demands is the true essence.”

Interpretation of "Real Estate Architect"

Written in 2019

Real estate architects have a job similar to that of a director. They need to select the most suitable design resources from numerous excellent options to create high-quality products that align with the enterprise’s characteristics. As frontline personnel in the entire real estate operation industry, we must always balance the relationship between time, cost, and quality, while also ensuring the product’s marketing strength—transforming user needs into design language.

The 8th Awards Album - Future Trends in Real Estate Design

Written in July, 2022

Over the past year, especially in the latter half of last year, under the backdrop of policies such as the “three red lines” and “housing is for living, not for speculation,” many real estate companies have faced liquidity challenges, particularly private enterprises. In the future, the industry may witness the following trends:

1. With the emphasis on “housing is for living, not for speculation,” real estate development models may explore new paths, such as increasing the proportion of rental housing, affordable housing, and talent housing development. Addressing the housing needs of low-income individuals is a priority for the country.

2. Enhancing housing services to generate long-term returns through post-sales services, transitioning gradually from a focus on increasing new real estate supply to balancing both new and existing real estate.

3. Increased demand for property upgrades in first and second-tier cities may lead to significant pressures on multiple-property owners due to higher property taxes, thereby driving demand for property replacement and upgrades.
