Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University in 1999.

Obtained a master’s degree in architecture from Yale University in 2002. Zaha Hadid was his mentor during his time at the Yale School of Architecture.

After graduating, Mr. Du worked at the Pritzker award-winner Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates, FXFOWLE in New York, and NBBJ. From 2013 to 2016, He worked as an Associate and senior architect at PCPA (Pelli Clarke Pelli & Associates). He has also been involved in design management for development enterprises, including serving as the Design Director for Guangzhou Wanxi (Vanke).
Mr. Du has accumulated 24 years of professional design and project management experience in both the United States and China.

Mr. Du advocates for a comprehensive lifecycle approach to planning and architectural design. He emphasizes integration with urban contexts, and his designs aim to reflect ecological, economic, cultural, and political sustainability, offering a new experience for creating lively communities and urban living.
