Activating the expansive coastal geography of Jinshitan Golden Beach, the project is guided by the design philosophy of “Rhythm of the Sea Weaving Through the City”. Through four core strategies – Embracing the Sea, Integrating with the City, Linking Landscapes and Fostering Symbiosis – it establishes an interconnected coastal cultural tourism landmark comprising coastal vacation, commercial entertainment and cultural experiences. The architectural form draws inspiration from ocean waves and seashells, using soft curves to dissolve boundaries between built and natural environments. Through multi-level transitional spaces, corridors, and plazas, the city and the coastal area are seamlessly connected, creating an open and inclusive coastal leisure destination that offers visitors a comprehensive experience while elevating Dalian’s status as an international coastal tourism city.
