WUXI YANGSHAN RESORT PEACH CULTURE & EDUCATION CENTER

Wuxi Peach Culture & Education Center is conceived around the idea of “Harvest,” integrating agricultural heritage, ecological systems, and technological experiences into an immersive “working museum” that combines exhibition, production, education, and leisure. Inspired by the traditional 24 solar terms, the architecture features 24 spiraling roof planes that rise to create a dynamic, seasonally evolving landscape, expressing the idea of a building that “grows” from the ground. A continuous circulation sequence connects above- and below-grade spaces, linking exhibition, interactive programs, and viewing platforms into a cohesive spatial narrative. At its core, a central “volcanic” immersive theater reinforces the site’s geological identity. Integrated with the surrounding community, the project forms a shared cultural destination, supported by sustainable and low-energy design strategies to establish a forward-looking cultural landmark.
